These drum workshops are packed full of pro-drum experience while covering a wide range of drum topics, skills, goals, music, and always a DSA drum experience of high energy and excitement!

Drum Educator: Kicking off DSA Workshops with a fun one from none other than Drum Sync Academy!

Workshop Overview:

• A hands-on workshop - Bring your sticks!

• Stick Tricks… they’re not needed, some will say they’re lame, and definitely won’t get you a gig……….. but damn are they cool!!!

• Kyle will share an array of Drum Stick - Stick Tricks that he has used over his 20 year professional drum career.

• Learn a handful of Stick Tricks and SILLY (made-up) NAMES: just to name a few… The “Fake-Flip”, The “Stick Flip”, 180 & 360 Flip, The “Infinity” Huck, The “Under Flip”, The “Elevator”, The “Boomerang”, The “Magnetic Two”, The “Ground Stopper”, The “Curly-Twirl”, and The “Drum Tech Push”… and more!

• Find the secret to playing Stick Tricks in drum grooves and with drum fills.

• Receive the Do’s & Don’ts and Internet Fails of stick tricks!

• Space is limited to only 25 drummers!

Workshop Details: Saturday - October 21, 2023 (Open to public / Released 09/27/23)

• Series #1 - 11:00am - 12:30pm… includes a showcase and Stick Trick Full Training (Solo & Group) 1.5HRS

• Lunch is provided 12:30 - 1:30pm w/ meet & greet 1HR

• Series #2 - 1:30pm - 3:00pm… includes Stick Trick Warm Ups w/ Trick Grooves Builder 1.5HRS

• This is a 4 Hour - Exclusive Interactive Drum Workshop!

REQUIREMENTS

Skill Set: Open to all playing experience

Ages: 13+ & UP w/ Sticks Flying and attendance limited - this one’s for Teens & Adults.

DSA drum family with *younger drummers if you and others show interest we will be planning a separate workshop, “Stick Trick Jr’s Event” on a different date! Please Fill Out Form Below.

Gear: Due to limited DSA gear, we ask drummers to bring; Throne and Pad w/ Stand. In order for DSA to provide to those who do not have any.
